Intelligent Large Parcel Sorting System for E-commerce It is an automated system that utilises advanced technology to achieve efficient and accurate sorting of large-sized and heavy-weight parcels. It is optimised for the characteristics of large parcel sorting in the e-commerce industry on the basis of the traditional sorting system, which improves the sorting efficiency and accuracy and reduces the labour cost.
System Composition and Working Principle
Conveying systems: including roller conveyors, belt conveyors for conveying parcels of different sizes and weights.
Single Piece Separation System: Adopts 2D single piece separation equipment for batch parcel diversion.
Identification system: Through barcode scanning, image recognition and other technologies, the information on the parcels can be read quickly to determine their destinations.
Control System: Using PLC, computer and other equipment, control and coordinate the whole sorting process.
Real-time printing and labelling system: automatically generates the face sheet according to the parcel information and prints and attaches it to the parcel.
Sorting Machine: According to the parcel information, control the sorting machine to accurately sort the parcels to the corresponding exit.
Principle of operation
Parcel Conveyor: Large parcels are conveyed through the conveyor system into the sorting system.
Piece Separation: The parcels are transported one by one in an orderly manner.
Information Reading: The identification system reads the information such as barcode or RFID label on the parcel.
Printing and labelling: According to the information of parcels to generate courier manifests, and automatic printing and labelling.
Path Planning: The control system plans the optimal sorting path according to the parcel information.
Sorting execution: The sorter sorts parcels accurately to the corresponding exit according to the planned path.
