Dynamic DWS Six-side Scanning with Print & Apply Label Applicator and Wheel Sorting Machine

This intelligent sortation system consists of Dynamic DWS Six-Side Scanning, Print & Apply Label Applicator and 5 sets of pendulum sorters. It integrates weighing, dimensioning, barcode scanning, print & apply labeling and intelligent sorting into an automated logistics system.          

It transports parcels to the scanning area via a high-speed conveyor belt and scans the parcels 360 degrees from different angles using multiple cameras, which can read the barcode information of the parcels from any surface, and weigh and measure the size of the parcels. After the parcel information collection is completed, a label is generated according to the parcel information obtained from the DWS system, and the label printing and applying task is completed by the Print & Apply Label Applicator. Finally, according to the parcel information to automatically complete the sorting task, to achieve a high degree of automation of parcel sorting.

The overall workflow of the system: 
 

• Parcels enter the system: Parcels enter the system via the conveyor belt.

• DWS six-side scanning: The system scans six sides of the parcel to obtain size, weight and other information.  

• Data Processing: The system generates the appropriate Express Bill of Lading information based on the data collected.  

• Printing and labeling: Real-time printing and labeling machine prints the front page and affixes it to the package.  

• Sorting: Packages according to the information on the face of the bill of lading, are transported to the corresponding balance wheel.  

• Export Sorting: The balance wheel rotates to sort the parcels to the corresponding export.
